- Canon -rumors suggest that Canon EOS R6 III will land in November
- It could inherit a stabilized version of the 32MP sensor in the recent EOS C50
- There are also rumbles of a Sony A7 V which would be a direct rival
Canon could be announcing a successor of the EOS R6 II – predictably named EOS R6 III – if the latest cannon rumors are accurate.
The current model has been an excellent Sony A7 IV-Beating Allrounder mirror-free camera since its release of January 2023, but was surpassed by the Nikon Z6 III in a few areas, which means Nikon currently has the best camera crown. However, it could all change with the new EOS R6 III, but at least if its reputation features are something to pass by.
Canon rumors suggest that Sensor Tech will be twisted down from the EOS C50-Canon’s recent baby cinema camera-Inclusive a stabilized version of the full-frame 32MP sensor along with Open Gate video recording.
The latter feature separates the EOS R6 III from Nikon and Sony rivals, while the resolution bump (EOS R6 II shoots 24MP set images) could see it surpassed Nikon Z6 III (also 24MP) for details.
We may not have long to wait to find out the details with certainty. Canon Rumors are aware that the EOS R6 III is coming on November 6th and predicting a price of € 2,899 (potentially around $ 3,100 / £ 2,600 / AU $ 5,000 given the current market conditions).
Nikon could soon get serious competition
If the EOS R6 III actually has a 34.2MP -Sensor (delivery of 32MP -Set Pictures), it will probably also shoot 7K -Video, as the EOS C50 does and The sensor tipes to be stabilized, up to 6.5V.
We can also expect Canon’s double pixel CMOS of II with improved subject tracking and up to 40 FPS Burst shooting using the electronic shutter with pre-catching, according to Canon rumors.
Still, for Video’s dance, it is the probability of recording of open gate video recording that could separate the EOS R6 III from the Z6 III, and in fact the rumor of the Sony A7 V-another rival that was tilted to launch this year.
Sony’s potential A7 V is likely to compete in terms of dissolution with its rumor 33MP sensor and potentially also its burst shooting, although it could fall short in different ways to video.
It looks like Canon and Sony could see 2025 with a smell of key camera messages. What do you think of the latest rumors? Which camera sounds most promising? Tell me that in the comments below!
