Abbotsford Canucks’ victory in a crucial game 5 of the second round of American Hockey League’s Calder Cup playoff series against Colorado Eagles was damaged by a chair-sheep incident.
Before Canucks celebrated a 5-0 win and a place in the western conference final, a bully fan came in a heated exchange with the team’s Brandon Astle during the live broadcast of Matchup.

Abbotsford held a 2-0 lead in the semi-final series as a noticeable noise seemed short to distract Astle. The broadcast revealed that the noise was the result of a fan who threw a chair that eventually hit him in the leg.
“Got some Yahoo quit from me from behind. Go out of here! What did he do? Security! Try it again,” said Astle.

“I’m fired up. He threw my chair on me, hit me right at the back of the leg. As if what did he do here? Unreal. Have another beer,” the TV station added.

After the game, Astle went to his social media platform to offer an apology for his handling of the situation.
“I could have handled this better but was in shock and fired up that you can tell as it never happened to me before … I know a yahoo does not reflect the Eagles organization or their fans and seemed to be found and kicked out,” he wrote on X.
