Cardi B has taken the position of Los Angeles to testify in a civil trial that stems from an alleged shift with a security guard in 2018.
The rapper -born Belcalis Almánzar faces a trial from the former security guard Emani Ellis, who accuses her of assault, battery and the application of emotional distress.
Ellis claims Cardi hit her, spit on her and cut her face with a nail during a confrontation on a Beverly Hills Obstetrician’s Office while the artist was four months pregnant with her first child.
On Tuesday, Cardi witnessed that the incident ever became physically, though she admitted to having called Ellis a “B ****” during a heated exchange, as per. Daily Mail’s Reports.
As for this, she said to court, “We had a verbal battle, but it didn’t get physical at all. She didn’t hit me, I didn’t hit her. There was no touch. So for me it wasn’t an incident.”
According to Cardi’s report, Ellis, who worked in the building, began to follow and record her on a cellphone when she left her medical appointment.
According to the publication, the rapper said she confronted the guard to film her without consent and described the meeting as an invasion of her privacy.
Ellis, who witnessed the day before, claimed Cardi actually spit on her, body -fought her and ironed on her face with a long nail.
She further accused the star of using curse words and racial sleds. Cardi denied these accusations and said under oath that she did not beat or spit on Ellis.
In addition, the trial, which was filed by 2020, also claims that the invasion of privacy’s hitmaker used his influence to get Ellis fired.
