Arizona Cardinals have allegedly fined head coach Jonathan Gannon $ 100,000 for his sideline shift with driving Emari Demercado back.

Gannon was upset after Demercado fell football before crossing the finish line on what should have been a 72-yard touchdown that would have set up Arizona 28-6 early in the fourth quarter.

Instead, Cardinals continued with Tennessee Titans, 22-21.

A video sent to social media showed that Gannon was approaching Demercado, who was comforted by the left tackle Paris Johnson after the mistake and confronted him. Gannon seemed to come in Demercado’s face before he got short contact with Running Backs arm as he walked away.

Gannon apologized for his actions Monday and said, “I let kind of time get better off me there.”

There will be no other discipline for Gannon than the fine, according to ESPN.

This is the first time that an NFL head coach has been fined for a change of player since Bruce Arians, who coached Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was disciplined to hit security Andrew Adams’ helmet during a Wild Card round game against Philadelphia Eagles. BUCS rooted Arians $ 50,000 for the incident.

Demercados Bombert allowed the titans to get back in the game when Rookie Cam Ward orchestrated a Touchdown drive to cut the deficit.

Demercado were not the only cardinals that fell. Several defenders couldn’t regain a red-zone fumble after an eavesdropping, enabling Tennessee’s Tyler Lockett to fall on the ball in the final zone of a wild touchdown.

After Cardinals couldn’t pick up the first down, Ward led the titans on a last drive that was uncovered by a walk-off field target as time expired.
