Cardinals’ Willson Contreras Slams Brewers Player After Collision

St. Louis Cardinal’s first Baseman Willson Contreras Rev in a Milwaukee Brewers player after a collision at the first base during the two teams matchup on Saturday.

The base tuning event took place at the bottom of the third round when breweries Third Baseman Caleb Durbin hit a one-jump to Cardinal’s third Baseman Nolan Arenado, who fired the ball to contrreras for the third out of the entrance. Contreras stepped back of the plate and collided with Durbin.

Durbin fell to the ground. The Brewers star Rhys Hoskins was among those who seemed to shout at Contreras from Dugout, but cooler heads apparently prevailed at the moment. “One of their players likes to talk far away, but when he got to my face, he didn’t say S —,” said contraras via Athletic. “I was looking for more than that. He seems to be tough but he is a f — ing in — y. I don’t want to name names. He knows who he is.”

When asked about Hoskins, Contreras said the Brewers player had not said anything to him.

Hoskins was asked about his interaction with Contreras. He replied Coyly that the two just “talked about playing first base.”

Contreras’ Homer was his ninth on the season.

The Cardinals improved to 37-34 with the victory. Milwaukee fell to 38-34.
