Casandra “Cassie” Ventura is ready to testify against ex-partner, Sean “Diddy” combs.
Below the page she has also made the brave decision to use her name and identity while doing so.
According to the decision, prosecutors have claimed that “victim-1” would not remain anonymous as they would testify against Combs for Racketing Conspiring, Sex Trade and Transport to engage in prostitution.
Per. PEOPLE Magazine, victim-1 is Ventura and will definitely testify in the trial as the filing says:
“She is prepared to testify under her own name. Victim-2, victim-3 and victim-4 have asked that their identities are not revealed to the press or public.”
It was also requested that the anonymous victims be “referred to during trial by using only pseudonyms” and for the court to defend not to share their identifying details.
The prosecutors said, “This case has already received a unique amount of media coverage, which will probably only increase when the trial continues.”
“Permission of these measures will prevent unnecessary publication of the victims’ identities and harassment from the media and other, unnecessary embarrassment and other negative consequences that would almost certainly follow if these women were forced to reveal their true names in public during trial,” the archiving further read.
