Islamabad:

The Cabinet Committee for Privatization (CCOP) on Tuesday approved a fixed-track plan for privatization of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation (PIACL), including the disposal of 51-100% share capital together with management control.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar chaired the committee’s meeting, a statement of the Foreign Office spokesman said.

Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the government’s obligation to Piacl’s privatization to unlock his full potential.
