Islamabad:
Capital Development Authority (CDA) The Board of Directors approved several projects on Friday, including the implementation of a third-party audit of all its projects to eliminate corruption, recovery and upgrade of the IJ-Hovedvejen North Service Road and rehabilitation and expansion of the road from Kashmir Chowk to Faizabad Interchange along Murree Road.
In addition, approval was granted for the purchase of necessary equipment for the establishment of a GIS (Geographic Information System) laboratory in the special technology lying, including projects.
The CDA Board also decided to cancel the allocation of state living spaces assigned to officers and other employees but are illegally given to other persons.
The sixth meeting of the CDA board, chairman of CDA chairman and Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa, was held on Friday at the CDA headquarters with participation from board members and relevant officers. Several agenda had been discussed in detail and final decisions were made.
One of the most important decisions was to conduct a third-party revision of all CDA projects. The Board of Directors emphasized that CDA is obliged to transparency, quality standards and profits.
The board also approved the restoration and upgrade of the IJ Head Road North Service Road to facilitate commuting problems for citizens. Similarly, the rehabilitation and expansion of the road from Kashmir Chowk to Faizabad exchange along Murree Road was also approved.
