Boston Celtics has already clocked an playoffs and participated on Tuesday with the second best record in the NBA’s eastern conference.
The defending masters expanded their winning line to six matches on Monday as they defeated Sacramento Kings.
But Celtics coaches and fans held their collective breath in the third quarter when Star Forward Jayson Tatum held his ankle as he was lying on the field.

Tatum had just knocked down a disputed 3-pointer when he appeared to land on the foot of Kings Center Domanta’s Sabonis. Kings Big Man was judged an obvious error.

While Tatum was visible in moments in moments after the bad, Celtic’s head coach Joe Mazzulla suggested that the six-time NBA All-Star avoid a serious injury.

“He seems to be good,” Mazzulla said. “I didn’t see the piece, but they called the right one. Lucky that he was able to shoot the free throw. [He’s] To take care of it right now. “Tatum did one of his two free throwing attempts before checking out of the game.
Tatum led Celtics in points before he was forced to take an early trip to the dressing room. He made the trip without the help of the team’s training staff. His evening ended with 25 points and he told me ESPN was that the ankle was “just sore.”

Tatum added that the team is planning “to be careful.”
Sabonis later issued an apology to Tatum.
“I feel awful,” Sabonis told journalists. “I’ve had a crazy month myself, personally, and you never want it to happen. So I apologize.”
Sabonis can relate to Tatum. Kings Center recently treated its own ankle injury. The three-time All-Star missed three games before returning to the Kings lineup on Monday.
