Center, Balochistan promises to eliminate terror

The federal government has decided to continue to help the Balochistan government in operations against terrorists until their complete elimination. According to Express News, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta on Saturday.

They discussed law and order in the residual province and the measures taken to eliminate terrorists associated with Fitna-E-Hindustan, a term used to refer to separatist organizations that receive support from the Erkival India. Both leaders paid tribute to the martyrs and offered prayers for them.

Later, a special meeting on law and order was jointly led by Naqvi and Bugti. At this meeting, in -depth discussions were held on security operations performed in different areas.

Cm Bugti informed the participants of the overall security situation and measures taken to ensure peace. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the provincial action plan and examined the challenges facing.

Interior Minister Naqvi claimed that the terrorists will face a terrible and exemplary fate.

“We will bring Indian sponsored terrorists and their facilitators of justice. Those who challenge the state will be treated with an iron hand. The federal government will continue to support Balochistan fully in the war against terrorism,” he said.

Main Minister Sarfraz Bugti noted that the ongoing war was not only the war for security forces but the entire nation’s war. He said that all state institutions are working in complete harmony to restore peace in Balochistan.

“The victim of our security forces and citizens will not go in vain. Operations against elements involved in terrorism have been intensified and peace will be established at all costs,” he said.

Balochistan Inspector General of Police (IGP), Inspector General for Frontier Corps North, Deputy Inspector (DI) from Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), DI Special Branch, Director General of Levies and other senior officials from the home department attended the meeting.
