We’ve already seen a lot at CES 2026 – check out our day one round-up for details – but there’s been a lot more to marvel at today, on the second day of the biggest tech show on the calendar.
However, as you can see from our CES 2026 live blog, there are also plenty of smaller, niche technologies to check out. It really does include everything from kitchen appliances to giant roller skates, and the TechRadar team has it all covered.
Here are the highlights from our second day at CES 2026, and it’s another bumper selection of beautiful and boring technology.
1. Click Communicator
- Best feature: BlackBerry-like keyboard
BlackBerry is back! Kind of. Clicks has been providing physical keyboard accessories for phones for a while, but now it has its very own phone, called the Clicks Communicator. If you’ve been missing having a BlackBerry by your side, this might be the next best thing.
In addition to the keyboard, the Communicator comes with a side button that can be customized to quickly record voice notes, and it even has a microSD card slot and a headphone jack. It can be pre-ordered now for $399 (approx £295 / AU$595), and will ship later this year.
2. Dell XPS 14 2026
- Best feature: The beautiful redesign
Dell is bringing back its XPS branding, and we’ve already had some hands-on time with both the new-for-2026 14-inch and 16-inch XPS laptops. It’s the smaller version that’s arguably the more appealing of the two, though they both look pretty awesome.
In addition to its light and solid build quality, the Dell XPS 14 for 2026 comes with Intel Core Ultra chipset, up to 64 GB of memory and up to 4 TB of internal SSD storage. It’s a great all-round package and the price starts at $2,049.99 (approx £1,520 / AU$3,045).
3. Birdbuddy 2 Mini
- Best feature: AI bird detection
The smart bird feeder experts at Birdbuddy are back with the Birdbuddy 2 Mini, and no prizes for guessing what’s different about the new model: it’s smaller. It’s also more affordable while matching the specs of the larger version launched last year.
There is a 2K camera installed here next to the bird feeder, as well as AI-powered bird detection that works from both audio and visual cues. Pre-orders and shipping are expected this year, and the price isn’t an unreasonable $129 (about £95 / AU$190).
4. Luna Band
- Best feature: There is no subscription fee
Screenless fitness trackers are lightweight and unobtrusive, but the market leader in this space – Whoop – asks for a subscription fee. The new Luna Band hopes to offer an alternative that only asks for one upfront payment when you actually purchase the device.
It certainly looks the part, and comes with support for a range of voice commands to replace taps on the screen – and of course you can control everything through the accompanying mobile app too. We are still waiting for the prices to be confirmed.
5. Samsung Galaxy Book6
- Best feature: Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 CPUs
Samsung is ready to welcome back the best Mac and Windows laptops with the new Galaxy Book6 series of laptops. They are packed with the latest Intel chipset technology, are impressively slim and light, and of course, they also come with plenty of AI-related features.
Based on what Samsung has shown at CES 2026 so far, we have high hopes for the Samsung Galaxy Book6 series, and they promise to combine top-tier performance with excellent battery life between charges – something we all want from our laptops.
6. Lego Smart Brick
- Best feature: Lego interactivity at the next level
In one of the biggest upgrades we’ve seen rolled out to Lego bricks in recent years, we’re getting a range of smart bricks that come with intelligence built in: these bricks are able to sense other smart bricks, make sounds (such as space battle sounds) and more.
From the outside, however, these blocks are very similar to the existing ones. We’ve written a comprehensive explanation of how Smart Bricks can upgrade your Lego experience, and they’re coming to Star Wars sets first. Naturally, they are also slightly more expensive than the normal bricks.
7. Shokz OpenFit Pro
- Best feature: The exceptional noise reduction
If you want effective noise reduction from your wireless earphones without feeling like your ear canal is completely closed, check out the Shokz OpenFit Pro. The newly revealed earphones promise a high level of noise cancellation while still using an open-ear design.
Having tested the Shokz OpenFit Pro, we can confirm that they perform as advertised – and with high-quality materials, premium sound and Dolby Atmos support, they’re an appealing proposition. These earphones will set you back £219 (approx $295 / AU$440).
8. Timeli flashlight
- Best feature: Get help when you need it
The Timeli flashlight does the main job you’d expect – with an impressive level of brightness – but it’s also so much more. It comes with GPS, video recording and a button that will contact the emergency dispatcher if you feel you are in trouble.
In other words, this could literally save your life, which isn’t bad for $299 (about £220 / AU$445). The emergency dispatch features cost you extra in the form of a subscription fee, but you get a full year of service for free included in the price of the flashlight.
9. Victrola Soundstage
- Best feature: An all-in-one solution without bulk
Audiophiles certainly haven’t been left out at CES 2026 this year, and the Victrola Soundstage is proof of that. The main selling point is the way the turntable itself sits on top of its soundbase speaker to provide a compact, all-in-one vinyl listening experience.
It’s also relatively affordable, yours for $349.99 (about £260 / AU$500) when it becomes available around the middle of this year. If you want to take your first steps into a vinyl collection and a quality turntable, the Victrola Soundstage could be perfect.
10. HP Eliteboard G1a
- Best feature: Its on-the-go appeal
There are always plenty of innovative ideas on display at CES every year, and the HP Eliteboard G1a certainly fits that description. It’s a full PC built into a keyboard, so all you have to do is plug in a mouse and an external monitor and you’re good to go.
It’s also a pretty powerful PC with enough grunt to earn the Copilot+ badge. We’re still waiting for confirmation on pricing, but this will definitely appeal to people who spend a lot of time jumping between desktops – as the only thing you’ll need to take with you when you move is the keyboard.
11. Audio-Technica AT-LP7X
- Best feature: A fantastic design
Our second turntable on this list is a finely crafted piece of technology, offering a fully manual belt drive, a built-in phono preamp and wide cartridge compatibility. The Audio-Technica AT-LP7X also looks pretty sensational, following the aesthetics of its predecessor.
Its predecessor, the 2019 Audio-Technica AT-LP7, was also a really impressive model, so we’re looking forward to testing this one and weighing up the upgrades on offer. The record player is available to buy now and retails for £679 (approx. $920 / AU$1,370).
