Chappell Roan plays a prominent role at the Oscars 2025 watch party.
The Pink Pony Club the singer performs at the 2025 Oscars viewing party, which is co-hosted by Elton John.
The news was confirmed by the legendary British singer himself when he took to Instagram and shared the line-up for his annual Academy Awards viewing party in aid of the Aids Foundation.
According to the post, the 26-year-old singer has been announced as the event’s only performer for this year’s edition of the watch party.
The screening party will also be co-hosted by Jean Smart, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka to raise funds for AIDS research.
Rolling Stone reported that confirmed attendees so far include Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, Sharon Stone, Sean Penn and Mick Jagger.
In a statement to the publication, the legendary singer, who is one of the most acclaimed and successful solo artists of all time, said of Roan’s upcoming performance: “David (Elton’s husband) and I are thrilled to gather with friends and supporters once again. .”
“We are honored to welcome the bold and authentic Chappell Roan as this year’s performer, whose artistry embodies the power of music to inspire change,” said Elton John.
