Chargers’ Denzel Perryman will not face charges after arrest of firearms

Los Angeles Chargers Linebacker Denzel Perryman does not face criminal charges after the law enforcement authorities in California said they discovered five firearms in his car during a traffic stop.

Perryman, 32, was arrested by Los Angeles Sheriff’s deputies Friday night after, several weapons were found in his possession, including two “attack style rifles.”

“On August 1, 2025, at 21.30, South Los Angeles Station advocates a traffic stop on Los Angeles Charger’s footballer Denzel Perryman, 32, for violation of the vehicle code,” the Lensmanns department said in a statement.

“During the traffic stop, deputies discovered five firearms in Mr. Perryman’s vehicle, two of which were rifles in attack style.”

Originally, Nfl Veteran was booked on charges of crime and kept out of bail this weekend, but at. 13 Monday he was released.

Denzel Perrymans arrest on charges

According to online prison registers, he was only listed as detained. Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Perryman initially had a court date that was erected until Tuesday before being released without charges on Monday.

Perryman was drafted by chargers in 2015 and played for the team until 2020. He is in his second stint with the team after signing a one -year contract in 2024 and signing again with chargers this season.

He also had stints with Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders.
