Charles Barkley shared a message to Dallas Mavericks General Manager Nico Harrison after the NBA director came again headlines this week when he said he was surprised by the fan base’s “level” of love for Luke Doncic after his trade to Los Angeles.

In a speech with journalists Monday during his season ending news conference, Harrison admitted he knew about Doncic’s meaning for fans But had not quite known to what extent it was until there were calls for his firing after the Bombshell trade news.

This followed comments he made earlier in the week when he said he had “no regret” about the trade.

Barkley questioned Harrison’s public comments since the trade, and during Monday evening’s broadcast of “NBA at TNT” he shared some advice to Harrison.

“Hear man, I consider you as a friend of mine – Nico Harrison, I consider you as one of my friends. I wish you nothing but the best. I thought you did a good job last year with Mavs, and obviously what happened this year didn’t work,” he started.
