Charles Barkley is concerned about how Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson affects the legendary coach’s heritage.

Hudson closed a question about how the couple met from Tony Dokoupil during Belichick’s interview with “CBS News Sunday Morning,” and the interview produced widespread criticism.

Barkley, 62, said he is concerned about how Belichick’s relationship with Hudson has affected the coach’s heritage.

“Man, this thing is so messy

“That’s what really bothering me. He’s the biggest coach ever. We’re not even talking about it anymore and I want to hate to see it ending like that. Because it becomes the lasting memory right now and I hate it.”

Barkley said his friendship with North Carolina head coach began before Belichick’s historic 24-season ran with New England Patriots when the coach was fired by Cleveland Browns. Basketball Hall of Famer said he has not yet reached Belichick, but that the coach has been a great friend for him over the years.

Belichick spent last season out of football after his patrioter’s tenure ended and he was hired by North Carolina in December to replace Mack Brown.

The 73-year-old coach has won eight Super Bowls, six as the head coach with the patriots and two as New York Giants’ defensive coordinator.
