Charli XCX, who achieved fame primarily as a singer and songwriter, has convicted on a rare update about his movie, The moment.
During an interview with Black, The song stress spoke honestly about the journey of filming the film inspired by her own experience and success with her album Abrupt.
“I really enjoy my acting journey,” she shared her experience. “I feel very, very inspired at the moment in this field, I feel incredibly creative, and I will only ever do things that inspire me and make me feel energetic.”
The British singer shared his plan for future projects and continued, “To me it doesn’t really work like that. I’m very interested in where it is possible to try to grow things even from scratch.”
However, the film has not officially announced the release date, but it is confirmed that the film is in production, with Charli starring and serving as a producer.
“I’m kind of building things with my network of friends and instructors that I admire and similar things. No matter what kind of creative project I’m working on,” added the 33-year-old singer.
“I always prefer when the initial spark comes from like me and my colleagues partners rather than kind of outsourcing, you know what I mean? I try to go and find material myself, basically,” she concluded.
For those not daring, Charli XCX’s album Abruptwas released in June 2024, has been critically accompanied and commercially successful.
