Charlie Kirk’s producer slams Jimmy Kimmel for not apologizing at the return

Charlie Kirk’s producer criticizes Jimmy Kimmel for returning to view without apology

Andrew Kolvet, a member of Charlie Kirk’s team, feels that a formal apology was missing during Jimmy Kimmel’s return to late evening tea.

Kolvet’s concern came a day later on Wednesday when he appeared on Fox News Channel’s America’s news room.

“What was missing in your view?” Anchor Bill Hemmer asked about Kimmel’s return after suspension, which the cold replied, “Well, an apology for one.”

“Where was ‘sorry?’ Where was contradictory?

The cold elaborated, “Yes, he was emotional, but I think he was emotional because, one, he is really good on the camera,” noted the Colvet.

“And B – Yes, I wouldn’t say really well, maybe, but he’s used to it – and B because he’s been under the gun for the past few days. That’s what he’s emotional over.”

An apology to Kirk’s family was one of the requirements made by the regulators to lift the suspension of Kimmel’s Late Night Show. Other requirements were a personal donation to Kirk’s family and turning point USA and discussions with ABC on professionalism and accountability.

Kimel’s suspension came from controversial remarks he made on September 10 -killing on the conservative activist, Kirk.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! was then reinstated on September 23, when Kimmel treated his comments in his opening monologue the next day.

“It was never my intention to make light on the murder of a young man,” he began when he tore. “I don’t think there’s anything fun about it, nor was it my intention to blame any specific group for the actions, which of course was a deeply disturbed individual.”

“It was really the opposite of the point I was trying to do. For those who think I pointed a finger, I get why you are upset. If the situation was turned, there was a good chance that I had felt it the same way.”

He pointed to a statement he had shared immediately after Kirk’s death, sent compassion to the family and condemned pistolald.

Still, the Colved Kimmel’s response to be “trembling” threw Kimmel accused of “analyzing his words” instead of taking responsibility.

He continued to say that Kimmel should have told his audience, “This is not okay, I will not do it again, and for anyone else out there thinking of doing violence, political violence, it stops, it is not okay.”

He argued that Kimmel suggested “It’s okay to lie about Conservatives” by linking Kirk’s killer with Maga supporters and minimizing the tragedy.
