Openai confirms that there is a problem
Openai has been quick to confirm problems and gives an update that it has identified the question from 8:38. Here is the full message on the status page.
Increased error on chatgpt for all paid users
We have identified that users are experiencing increased errors for the affected services.
We are working to implement a mitigation.
It is listed as a partial power outage that is still in progress and most affects paid users. I have my own chatgpt plus account and have not yet encountered any problems, although down -detector reports are still in the low thousands -1,500 in the US and about 700 in the UK.
It is possible that this has a shorter prolonged influence on chatgpt’s services this morning.
Openai’s status page shows that this partial power outage has been running for 37 minutes and that most of the problems are related to conversations with chatgpt. Which means AI possibly mistakenly when answering an inquiry from you or just doesn’t answer at all.
Reports down -detector shows that the question begins to solve, which may mean that Openai’s efforts to solve it progresses. From 1 p.m. 09:10 shows Down Detector in the USA 164 reports, and in the UK at 1 p.m. 9:12 shows 81 reports.
Both of these fall within the normal range of reports that do not necessarily indicate a major problem. Given that Openai has confirmed an ongoing problem, it probably means that we are closer to a full resolution.
Openai states that it is still working to solve this partial power outage, but it seems that chatgpt for most people who reported the problem is now working normally.
The latest status update sent at 1 p.m. 9:41 One, read: “We continue to work with mitigation.”
I asked Chatgpt about the problems this morning and it recommends trying again to send a message if it fails or refreshes since after a minute or two.
Chatgpt gives it all clear
From 1 p.m. 10:16 one, only minutes ago, Openai has given all clear, and Chatgpt is now back to normal for the affected users. Remember that this partial interruption affected paid subscribers.
The update reads, “We have used the mitigation and monitor the recovery.” So if you still see mistakes it is best to try to send the message or update the page.
However, it is good to see that chatgpt is back to business as usual for all people now. Reports of the decrease sector are still far down, but also in the normal interval.
