If you managed to secure a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-ordering recently, you might be able to check your email inbox as it appears that some retailers have begun to cancel them.
As reported by VICE, Nintendo Switch 2 owners would flood R/Switch Subbreddit to complain that their pre-orders of the upcoming Nintendo console have been unexplained.
The majority of those who report cancellations appear to have traded on Walmart. “We are sorry we had to cancel these items,” reads a message in the Walmart app on a released screen.
In these cases, it seems that there is no real explanation as to why the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order was canceled, although I suspect it may be due to share problems. Some retailers probably knocked on having access to much more stock than they do, which led to the need to cancel certain pre -orders.
In the comments on these posts, other cancellations of Target and Gamestop report. Remember that these cancellations are currently not verified, although it would certainly not hurt to double check your order just in case.
