The woman who accused Kansas City Chiefs Wideout Xavier, worthy of attacking her, resulting in his arrest last week, has been given a protective order of a Texas judge, according to her lawyers.
Worthy, a 2024 choice of first round out of Texas And the silver lining in Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss last month was arrested in Williamson County on a charges of assault on a family or household member where their breath was hindered.

Tia Jones, who made the claim, received a protective order against worthy after the district attorney declined to push charges against the NFL player.

“Mrs. Jones has chosen to use her voice to speak for herself,” her lawyer, Angelica Cogliano, said in a statement to Associated Press. “In doing so, she looks forward to the facts and the circumstances of the night that emerges through the formal legal process and gets the righteousness she deserves.”
Her lawyers added that Jones is “full cooperation” with law enforcement as they continue to Examine the claims.
Details of the alleged assault were not immediately known, but Worthy’s lawyers said in a separate statement that the claim was made after a woman who lived in his home refused to leave when he was repeatedly asked.

She was allegedly asked to leave “by the discovery of her adultery.”
“She has refused to leave the residence and made a number of extensive efforts before resorting to this baseless claim against Mr. Worthy,” the lawyer states. “The complainant further destroyed a space in the home, scratched Mr. Worthy’s face and torn parts of his hair, for which there is photographic proof. Worthy told law enforcement at the time of the incident he did not want to push charges against the complainant.”
Worthy was released on Friday and the Williamson County District Attorney Shawn Dick later told Austin American-Statesman, his office had decided not to pursue the case at this time after talking to several witnesses.

He noted that Worthy was cooperating with officials.
Chiefs said in a statement to Pakinomist Digital Saturday, “We are aware and collect information.”
