Travis Kelce was one of two Kansas City CEOs with Ty’quan Thornton to wear shirts reading “Free 4”, a nod to suspended wide receiver Rashee Rice.
Rice, in his third season in the NFL, serves a six-game pension following his commitment to a crash in which he was indicted for collision involving severe body damage and racing on a highway that causes bodily damage. He pleaded guilty in July, and as part of Rice’s plea for an agreement, he received five-year postponed probation and 30 days in prison as a condition of probation.
Kelce and Thornton entered Geha Field at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday ahead of their Super Bowl Lix -Rematch with Philadelphia Eagles with graphic tees containing photos of rice.

The clothes caught the eye of March Lenahan representing one of the victims of the crash.
“I respect that Kelce and Thornton support their teammate, but the ‘gymnastics teacher’ needs to talk to the history teacher,” he wrote in a statement, referring to his engagement message with Taylor Swift via WFAA. “Rashee is not Nelson Mandela or Pepe Mujica, men who fought for what they believed. There is evidence that Rashee walked 119 km / hi a $ 1,749 per day lambo -rental who had a pot and a gun in it, on a highway in the Easter saint.
“Free rashee? He already thinks he’s getting away scot -free.” Lenahan continued, adding that Rice has not paid “a single cent” of the $ 1.1 million settlement he made with his victim.

Rice was the driver of a Lamborghini Urus that went 119 km / h on the northern central Expressway in Dallas as he made “several aggressive maneuvers around traffic” before crashing into other vehicles, according to prosecutors. Rice did not control the vehicles involved in the crash and decided to escape from the stage on foot.
The 25-year-old recipient said in a statement issued by his lawyer that he has had “a lot of sleepless nights thinking about the injuries my actions caused and I will continue to work within my means to ensure that everyone affected will be done whole.”

Rice has been sitting out of Chiefs’ first two matches and they certainly miss him. They are 0-2 for the first time since 2014, when Patrick Mahomes on average only 211 passing yards so far. He is eligible to return to Chiefs’ sideline in week 7 when faced with Las Vegas Raiders on October 19.
