Chilling WhatsApp -Charge Surfaces in Children’s Murder Case in Karachi

WhatsApp messages sent by a mother accused of killing her two children in Karachi have emerged and shed light on her commitment to the crime.

According to details, the woman who was identified as Adeba exchanged messages with her ex-husband Ghufran both before and after allegedly killing her son and daughter. In a message that was sent after the killings, Adeba wrote: “Now you have to be happy, can you see what I have done because of you?”

The conversations reveal routine discussions in the hours leading up to the incident. At Adeba’s request, Ghufran had bought independence day clothing for the children.

Announcements also show her who asks about their preparations: “Does Zarrar have a Shalwar Kameez for tomorrow?” And “Tell Somereeha what to wear tomorrow.”

Other texts included details of buying shoes, arranging green Kurtas and decorating with flags. Adeba also wrote, “Sandeeha has prepared for tomorrow, she also has flags with her.” Ghufran replied with photos of the kids dressed up for the festivities that Adeeba replied, “Mashallah, when did they get ready? Where is Zarrars Cap?”

Later, she asked her ex-husband if the children had sought permission to stay the night, as Ghufran responded with a Smilemoji and said yes.

One day earlier, police arrested Adeba and restored the sharp object she used to split her children’s neck. According to the authorities, she had a history of mental illness and frequent seizures, which led to her divorce last year. The court had given custody of the children to their father, Ghufran, who would occasionally send them to visit their mother.

On the day of the event, the children stayed at Adeeba as she allegedly suffered a seizure and attacked them in a state of mental imbalance in the bathroom. The victims were identified as 4.5 -year -old voices and seven -year -old Zarrar. Police said Adeba called her ex-husband to confess the killings.

The father and the children’s uncle then warned police through the relief line. Officers arrived at the site, restored the bodies and moved them to Jinnah Hospital for litigation.
