“China welcomes this and believes it will help Pakistan and Afghanistan improve mutual trust, strengthen cooperation and jointly maintain peace and stability in the region,” he added.
The spokesman said this is also an important positive measure for Pakistan and Afghanistan to implement the results of the informal meeting with foreign ministers in China, Afghanistan and Pakistan in May this year.
“China is willing to continue playing a constructive role in promoting the improvement and development of relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan,” he added.
