Bangkok: An explosion in a store in northern Laos killed four people, including Chinese citizens, reported Peking’s Consulate General in the country.
“Blast” happened Friday in a Chinese store in Oudomxay Province, the Chinese Consulate in Luang Prabang said in a statement.
The reason for explosion was under investigation, the consulate and the local media reported.
Three people were also injured in “fire event and explosion” in the store in the village of Nasao, according to Laos National Radio.
It caused in the meantime “significant damage” on the surrounding houses, China’s state -run Xinhua News Agency reported.
