Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky star in new Amazon Super Bowl ad

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, who recently appeared in a new Amazon Super Bowl 2026 commercial, have shared their love for sports.

The new ad shows the pair introducing the upgraded Amazon Alexa+, giving off Ultron vibes. The Marvel actor turns it into the commercial comedian as he imagines worst-case scenarios with Amazon’s new assistant.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the 42-year-old informed about his and Elsa’s interest in sports.

He added: “It depends on the sport. But any time there’s excellence at such a high point, it’s hard to turn down.”

Chris opened with them watching UFC and Elsa loves it a lot. Meanwhile, they really like watching Australian rules football and professional surfing.

As for the Super Bowl, The extraction actor said they are not hardcore fans as they live in Australia and the event does not have the same weight as in the US.

“We lived in America for a while, but we’re not ardent, obsessive fans. Especially living in Australia, it’s not that big of a deal.”

However, the Thor actor admitted that they love the event. He shared, “when we lived in America, our friends would host Super Bowl parties and it’s pretty special.”

Work-wise, Hemsworth is set to star in a crime thriller with Mark Ruffalo titled Crime 101.
