Lahore:
The Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) President, dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi announced on Thursday that the current year prescribed rates of Sadqa-e-Fitr and FIDYA should be paid for by the people with funds to the underprivileged individuals.
Sadqa-e-Fitr is mandatory for any Muslim, slave or free, male or female, young or old who possess the funds, Dr. Naeemi. He announced that the minimum amount of Sadqa-e-Fitr and FIDYA per Person was RS220 this year.
According to the message, the rates could vary based on different raw materials.
