Trey Hendrickson and Cincinnati Bengals have found common land on a new deal for the 2025 NFL season.
Hendrickson allegedly reached a $ 14 million agreement to play the 2025 season on a $ 30 million salary, according to several reports. The Bengals confirmed that they reached a revised contract on X.
So while it is not a long -term extension, Hendrickson is at least happy to enter the new year. He is still scheduled to become an unlimited free agent at the end of the 2025 campaign.

Hendrickson has been firm that he would not play this season on his $ 16 million salary and had hoped to reach a long -lasting covenant with Cincinnati throughout the high season.
When it never came to work, Hendrickson held out at the start of training camp, which made it clear that he would be paid before he participated in any team exercises. The Bengals also allegedly investigated trading NFL’s baggage in 2024.

The deal being made means that Hendrickson can take the next few days to really prepare with his teammates on practice. He was sitting out of all three of the team’s trial games despite other starters such as quarterback Joe Burrow and the wide receiver Ja’marr Chase who played some snaps.
Hendrickson, who enters his ninth season in the NFL, has secured 17.5 sacks in back-to-back seasons following a 2024 campaign that included a first team of All-Pro Honor. He also made his fourth straight pro bowl.
Hendrickson’s revised agreement was the final financial field to check for Bengals, who also paid wide receives Tee Higgins earlier this season. They also had a tense situation with the first round of picking Shemar Stewart, as the 17th total selection did not like the guaranteed money language in his rookie deal.

Now they can go into the 2025 season with all the most important pieces needed to get back on track. They went 9-8 last season and saved what could have been a disastrous year.
