Water supply has been severely affected in different areas of the city for the past 25 days.

The water requirement has risen, but the city’s water supply does not return to normal, causing difficulties for citizens forced to buy expensive water tankers.

The affected areas include Korangi, Landhi, Gullhan-e-Iqbal, Jamshed Road, Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, Dastgir, Federal B area and Baldia Town.

In addition, there was a power distribution at Gharo Pumping Station, which according to a spokesman for Water Corporation took place on Saturday morning, resulting in 30 million liters of water not being delivered to the city.

The power supply was also suspended at the NIPA pumping station for several hours, which affected the water supply in the Yellowhan-I-Iqbal, while the power supply disorder also affected the water supply at the NEK pumping station.

In response to the pink, citizens protested against Sakhi Hassan Hydrant in District Central and closed the hydrants.

Member Sindh assembly Jamal Ahmed also participated in the protest, where protesters blocked both ways, where he complained that the water supply had been disturbed in their area for several days.

Due to the protest, the water supply from Sakhi Hassan Hydrant also remained suspended for several hours.
