Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has increased the loan limit through Kissan cards to RS300,000 from RS150,000 and announced a subsidy of up to 95 percent on the solarization of agricultural pipes.

She approached a ceremony at Kala Shah Kaku Rice Research Institute and also announced the launch of a text and Helpline system for farmers who do not possess the card.

She announced that green tractors would be delivered to grants to 20,000 farmers next year, along with the creation of agricultural machinery rental centers in each tehsil.

The Minister of Ministry also congratulated farmers with success with Operation Bunyan-Un-Marsoos and praised the performance of all government institutions.

She added, “The reduction of inflation from 40% to almost zero is no less than a miracle. During my visit to Lahore, a woman congratulated me with the reduction in vegetable prices. Onions that used to sell to RS300 per kg in Punjab are now available to RS50.” She said that reduction in flour and bread prices benefited from the people.

The minister said, “Those who tried to create a crack between the farmers and the government failed miserably. The farmers in Punjab take advantage of the historic package. Farmers did not listen to the baseless propaganda and grew wheat on my appeal. I assured the farmers to grow wheat without fear, and the government would not allow any loss.

She added, “Instead of the support price for wheat, is granted direct grants to farmers. I will make all resources available to our farmers, but some hard decisions must be made to balance the economy. A support of RS5,000 per acre is given to the wheat farmers. of the turn of the tube and damper.

She said 85% of the loans acquired through the Kissan card had been repaid.

She maintained, “Previously, green tractors were available during Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s mandate period, and now that the Nawaz Sharif government came to power again, green tractors are given to farmers.”

CM said the breeders got ample fertilizer at reasonable prices.

She outlined, “due to early sowing, the cotton crop will increase by 30 to 40%and its production will be six million balls this year. Farmers will not be misled by anyone as the government will give them complete support and will also correct their difficulties and complaints. The coming year will bring more improvement and prosperity.”

The minister launched the scheme for wheat farmers by providing tractors and cash supplements in the ceremony. She also inspected the latest Chinese tractors on the occasion.
