Former ESPN NFL reporter Ed Werder Rev CNN TV company Jake Tapper, as he promoted his new book, “Original Sin: President Bid’s decline, its coverage and his catastrophic choice to run again,” and recognized “humility” in earlier coverage of former president Joe Biden.
Tapping and co -author Alex Thompson has received criticism of the coverage of the decline of the former president while he was in office. Tappers have been on several shows that admitted mistakes in how the report of the bite’s health was done.

Werder, the long -time ESPN journalist, offered his two cents in a post on Wednesday.
“He sold his credibility as a journalist for access to power – and now expects to take advantage of the audience itself, which he lied,” Werder wrote at X.
Werder was far from the only journalist or Pundit who has called the coverage.
Jon Stewart, Charlamagne Tha God, and “The View” host Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg made all their feelings known about the book and coverage around it. Some specifically cut CNN to promote it, while some “View” Pundits wondered if Tapper would write a book about President Donald Trump’s decline.

MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski, a noted Biden supporter, pushed back on the authors over the notion of a “cover-up” while talking to bravery and Thompson on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” She asked the notion of a “cover-up.”
Naomi Biden also defended his grandfather in a post on X at the book’s publication.
