Shiraz, a close association with Armaghan and an important suspect in the Mustafa Amir killing case, has claimed he was pressed by police to admit the crime.

During a hearing for Karachi Judicial Magistrate South, Shiraz told the court that police had promised him a lighter judgment if he agreed to confess.

Shiraz clarified that he was not the defendant, but an eyewitness to the crime and said, “I saw Armaghan brutally murder Mustafa Amir, but I was helpless at the time.”

He further denied any involvement in the murder.

Following his denial, the Court rejected the Investigator’s request to register Shiraz’s confessional statement.

Meanwhile, Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan has strongly criticized police actions in Mustafa Amir killing. He accused police of forcing his son, Sahir Hasan, of giving a forced statement under hardness. Sajid Hasan referred to this as a “well -planned conspiracy” in which he claimed that his son had been threatened to manipulate his testimony.

At a press conference, Sajid Hasan revealed that his son was physically abused in an attempt to force him to make a statement adapted to the police version of events.

He questioned whether these repeated events targeted at his family were random or part of a wider conspiracy.
