Colorado Buffaloe’s main coach Deion Sanders revealed that he was treating bladder cancer this spring, resulting in an operation where his bladder was removed.
When “Coach Prime” underwent this health scam, his son Skredeur Sanders prepared for his first year in the NFL.
Shedeur, a fifth round of choice of Cleveland Browns in April, spoke with journalists on Monday at training camp, and he revealed what his father’s message was for him in this difficult time for the family.

“Dad, he is someone who – he will handle his; we handle what we need to do,” said Shedeur, whose brother Shiloh is also fighting for a list of Tampa Bay Buccaneers. “It was like, ‘Should you have to focus on what you could focus on. You can’t sit here and think sin on me.’ … At the end of the day you are all able to see and you are all able to understand everything on and off the field I go through.
“Then you have to be a kind of human at some point in the way I do everything and how I handle everything that is thrown at me. You have no choice but to welcome it.”
Deion Sanders announced his health scorn, which had been speculated in months by football fans, on July 28, along with Buffaloes doctors.
Deion Sanders reveals that he fought for bladder cancer
The 57-year-old Pro Football Hall of Famer and Coach had “very high risk, non-muscle invasive bladder cancer,” according to his oncologist. He is now cancer -free.
“We removed the tumor. It was very high quality and invaded through the bladder wall,” Dr. Janet Kukreja, urological oncology director at CU Anshutz. “I am glad to report that the results of the operation are that he is healed from cancer.”

The cancer could have spread to the muscle, according to Dr. Kukreja, which happens in about half of the cases.
“Only about 10% of people live five years, even with our current medical treatment if it metastases,” she added.
So, as Shedur mentioned, it’s really been pretty roller coaster from the field for him since he left his father’s program to participate in the NFL rows.
It started with possibly being a first draft election, only to fall to day 3 when Browns finally removed him from the board of the fifth round of 144. Overall. Browns had previously worked out Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel, a colleague Heisman Trophy finalist, in the third round.
It is considered by many to be the worst fall in a draft of class, but Shedeur has only been positive for his opportunity with Cleveland.

However, Browns has listed him as fourth on their current depth cards on their side, which is not a final location among quarterbacks in the dressing room. However, it gives a good direction of where head coach Kevin Stefanski looks in that regard.
Joe Flacco, who led Browns to the playoffs two seasons ago, returned to the team as the presumed starter. However, Kenny Pickett deals with a hamstring injury, just like Gabriel right now. Shedeur also missed Saturday’s practice due to arm tenderness.
Shedeur has not taken any first team of snaps as Browns slowly played his development early in the camp. As such, Shedeur did not want his father to appear in Berea, Ohio, the home of Browns’ facility, as he did in Tampa Bay, where Shiloh competes in safety.
“I don’t want him to come and see me get a few reps, and then he cheering on like a good father,” said shedur. “Like, ‘Nah, you can’t be proud of me right now. I came to come to the place I am going.’ I know there is a lot I have to do to get there.

“We know how everyone would take it, like taking away from the team, with my own father showing up. It’s a gift and a curse at the same time.”
Shedeur says he is looking forward to Browns’ first trial season coming this Friday against Carolina Panthers.
