Coas Asim Munir meets US Defense Officers During Official Visit

Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (Coas) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is on an official visit to the United States, where he has held high -level meetings with senior political and military leaders and engaged with members of the Pakistani diaspora.

In the Tampa, the COAs participated in the retirement ceremony for the outgoing US central command (Centcom) Commander Michael E. Kurilla and the change of the command germ of Admiral Brad Cooper.

He praised General Kurilla’s leadership and contribution to bilateral military cooperation and expanded the best wishes to Admiral Cooper and expressed confidence in continued cooperation on common security challenges.

Coas also met Chairman Joint Chief of Staff for Staff General Dan Caine to discuss questions of mutual professional interest and invited him to visit Pakistan. On the sidelines he interacted with defense managers from friendly nations.

During a session of the Pakistani Diaspora, Coa’s confidence in Pakistan’s future and encouraged contributions to attract investment.

The diaspora confirmed its commitment to supporting Pakistan’s development.
