Islamabad:
Chief of Army Staff (Coas) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Turn Cat to undergo the security situation, assess development projects and strengthen civilian military coordination for Balochistan’s stability and prosperity, the military’s media wing said on Saturday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Coas was received by Balochistan Corps Commander LT Gen Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan. It also participated by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti and Balochistan Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan.
During the visit, COAs received a comprehensive briefing on the region’s security dynamics, including the threat perspective, successful operations against Fitna al-Hindustan, ongoing development projects and efforts to improve socio-economic conditions in southern Balochistan.

While interacting with CM and civil administrative representatives, Field Marshal Munir highlighted the importance of good governance, infrastructure development and inclusive human-centered progress.
He emphasized the role of joint civilian-military efforts to tackle the challenges faced by the people of Balochistan and confirmed the army’s unshakable support for initiatives aimed at socio-economic development in southern Balochistan.
Coas reiterated that the Pakistani army would continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Balochistan in their persecution of peace, prosperity and sustainable development.
During his interaction with troops, he appreciated their high morals, operational readiness and steadfast commitment to protecting national sovereignty and praising their role in maintaining peace and stability in challenging circumstances.
