Cholistan: Chief of Army Staff (Coas) General Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Saturday launched the Green Pakistan initiative in Cholistan, aimed at revolutionizing agriculture and giving farmers agricultural facilities under one roof.

Coas Gen Munir spoke Punjab as Pakistan’s agricultural power center and paid tribute to the leadership of Punjab and its farmers in modern agriculture.

If affirming continued support for the country’s economic development, the army chief also appreciated the effort and the successes made under the Green Business Initiative of the Punjab Government in a short time, and described them as encouraging and a progress of progress.

The Green Pakistan initiative is an agricultural project that is a joint effort between the government and the Pakistani army aimed at strengthening agricultural development in the country.

Today’s launch ceremony included the inauguration of Green Mall and Service Company, Smart Agri Farm and Agricultural Research and Facility Center.

It Green Agri Mall and Service Company, as reported by Radio Pakistanwill give farmers quality seeds, fertilizers and pesticides at reduced prices at their door steps. In addition, farmers will have access to agricultural machinery, including drones on affordable rental conditions.

An advanced agricultural farm spanning over 5,000 hectares will serve as a model for modern agricultural techniques that use advanced irrigation systems and promote water -efficient agricultural practice. The focus will be on reducing costs and increasing yields.

Meanwhile, the Agricultural Research and Facility Center will offer all necessary tools and facilities for agricultural research, including laboratory services such as soil tests.

This center will collaborate with agricultural institutions across the country and further promote the agricultural sector’s knowledge base.

By tackling the ceremony – also participating by federal ministers Rana Tanveer Hussain and Musadik Malik and Senior Provincial Minister Marrium Aurangzeb, provided provincial Minister Agri & Livestock Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani and others – Punjab cm Maryam travel against the development of Punjab’s farmers.

The Minister of the Minister emphasized that agricultural progress is directly linked to the growth and prosperity of farmers in Pakistan and noted that Green Pakistan was a revolution to promote modern agriculture in the country.

CM also emphasized the agricultural sector when the lifeline of Pakistan and handed additional land allocation letters to the next of relatives of martyrs and families of those injured in the war.

She paid tribute to the efforts of the Green Pakistan initiative to introduce contemporary best practices in Pakistan’s agricultural sector.
