Islamabad:
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif Thursday, on Thursday, paid tribute to the meeting between Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the US President of the White House the other day as a significant diplomatic success in Pakistan.
When he spoke with journalists outside the House of Parliament, the minister emphasized that this was the first time an army commander was invited to lunch with the US president and emphasized the importance of the meeting.
Khawaja Asif emphasized that the discussions on international and regional issues highlighted Pakistan’s potential to solve key problems, especially in the context of Pak-India tensions.
