Coin Baser Departments, a subsidiary of Crypto Exchange, has submitted documents to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to list Solana (Sun) and Hedera (HBAR) Futures.
The exchange plans to launch the product on February 18. With new contracts that are cash field on a monthly basis, according to the archiving.
The contract size for Solana -Futures would be 100 sun, currently worth approx. $ 24,000 if approved. It would also offer “Nano” Solana contracts with five sun. Hedera Futures would be dimensioned to 5,000 tokens.
The move comes after more players in Crypto have taken steps to launch new products after the inauguration of crypto -Rengeful President Donald Trump. Just last week, the Futures and Options Exchange CME accidentally released the futures side of XRP and Sun in their “staging under domain.”
CME told Coindesk that the leak was a mistake and that no decision had been made as to whether it would launch sun or XRP futures.
