Most of Pakistan will experience cold and dry weather today, with mountain areas expected to see significant cold conditions during the night.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, areas like Murree, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Northwest Balochistan are probably witnessing light rain and snowfall in the mountains, Express News reported.
In Islamabad and its surrounding areas, the weather is expected to remain cold with partially cloudy sky.
The meteorological department also stated that most districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain cold and dry, with northern districts expecting severe cold temperatures during the night.
Areas including chitral, dir, swat, kohistan, backram, shangla and nearby regions can experience partial cloud cover with occasional light rain and light snowfall.
Punjabs districts are expected to have cold weather with cloudy sky, where some areas like Murree and Galyat get light rain and snowfall.
In Sindh, most districts are likely to experience dry weather, while Balochistan will have cold weather, and areas such as Quetta, Ziarat, Qilla Abdullah, Chaman, Pishin and the surrounding areas can experience Gusty Wind along with light rain and snowfall on mountains.
The Kashmir region is expected to see cold weather with partially cloudy sky, while light rain and snow are also expected in some parts of Gilgit-Baltistan.
