During a recent chat with Variation, T.The Irish actor rarely shared insight into Costar Robbie’s off-screen page.
“I’ve heard the most extraordinary things about [Robbie] Over the years from the people who have worked with you both in front of and behind the camera, ”he began.
Ferrell continued, “They said she’s a mensch … She’s the most beautiful person she’s funny. She’s obviously a brilliant actress.”
“But they didn’t say it because it indicates the obvious and the other things I didn’t know, and it was all very true and saw some,” he said, adding that he enjoyed being on the set of margot “every day”.
“It was a joy every day to be on the set with her. She’s so smart, she’s so brilliant, but she’s just kind and funny,” he gasped.
Talking about his upcoming film with Barbie Star, who chronicates the story of two strangers whose paths cross after renting cars from a mysterious agency, he noticed, “It deals with grief and loss and sorrow and loneliness and all these very human things that we all struggle with, but I have never used the word darkness in relation to this movie. No. There is no darkness in it. These things in and by themselves are not dark.
