College Basketball Crown revealed a unique trophy that will be handed over to the winners of the 16-team men’s autumn tournament in Las Vegas next month.
The trophy is an actual crown and the first portable piece of hardware of its kind in autumn -year college basketball. The gold crown was revealed on Fox Sports’ “Breakfast Ball” on Friday morning, when the tournament was ready to tip on Monday.

The crown’s reveal came in the middle of a week with huge news around the tournament.
The tournament will include Price Pool in the name, image and equality (NIL), which assigns the winning school with a $ 300,000 Nil package. The school in second place earns a package of $ 100,000, and the two semi -finalists earn $ 50,000 through the living seats ambassador program.
“We are trying to raise the experience for student athletes,” Fox Sports Executive Vice President Jordan Bazant said Tuesday. “College football has evolved in so many ways. There is no great-game bowl experience for basketball programs. We have 12 NBA teams coming to this event, if not more. If you are in the NCAA tournament or NIT, you can’t send anyone to each game. At our event you can and we have NBA people in each game.
“For our programs, this is their first game and first week of the year 2025-26. It cleans you the year you have had to a degree or it gives the next step for a program.”

Arizona State, Boise State, Butler, Cincinnati, Colorado, Depaul, Georgetown, George Washington, Nebraska, Oregon State, Tulane, UCF, USC, Utah, Villanova and Washington State will all compete. The games will take place at the T-Mobile Arena and MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The tournament begins Monday and runs through April 6. Games can be viewed on FS1, where the final will appear on FOX.
Fox Sports also runs a Super 6 competition for fans to make predictions about the tournament games.
A competitor had to predict team and player performance, compete against other fans on Fox Sports and climb the leaderboard for a shot in the top prize. First prize includes $ 3,000. Second place gives the competitor $ 1,000. The winner in third place gets $ 500, fourth gets $ 250, fifth gets $ 150 and sixth winner $ 100.
