College Basketball: Nr. 7 Alabama beats No. 1 Auburn on Overtime Buzzer-Beater

The NCAA tournament is just around the corner, but madness in March has already begun.

No. 7 Alabama defeated top-ranked Auburn, 93-91, on the road with an overtime Buzzer beat on Saturday in a final season.

Mark Sears drove towards the paint and hit a float as the clock expired to give Crimson Tide a huge victory. Sears had just nine points, but he scored the most important two.

Johni Broome hit a three for Auburn with 15 seconds left over time to tie the game on 91, but Sears did the best to get the ball in the end. Broome ended with a game-high 34 points.

After losing only two of their first 29 matches, the Tigers have lost two equal. They dropped a game on the road to Texas A&M earlier this week.

The two teams could see each other deep in next week’s SEC tournament.
