Bill Belichick and North Carolina Tar Heels have brought another top talent to the 2025-26 season and the player comes from Coach Prime’s program in Colorado.
The broad recipient Adrian Wilson told On3 that he is transferring to UNC to join Belichick for his opening season at Chapel Hill.
Wilson was one of Deion Sanders’ top recruits for his Buffaloes program, but he entered the transfer portal on Wednesday. Belichick jumped to land the four-star recruits ranked as the No. 32 wide receiver in class 2025.

Belichick and his staff have been active in building their list through the transfer portal, and they were named Nebraska and Missouri Linebacker Mikai Gbayor earlier this week.
Tar Heels also brought in three former Washington Huskies defensive players thanks to the coach’s son, Steve Belichick, who served as defensive coordinator in Washington before coming to his father at Chapel Hill.

Linebacker Khmori House, Cornerback Thaddeus Dixon and Safety Peyton Waters went east to join the former New England Patriot’s main coach.

Wilson, who comes from Texas, signed with Colorado in December and signed up early at university after verbally committed to Arizona State.
No one expects Belichick will not be done in the portal either. Quarterback is still an important position to upgrade for Tar Heels to compete as their first -year coach would like next season.
