Previous Ohio State Long snapper Michael Roen McCullough was arrested in Columbus early Friday morning after allegedly beating her boyfriend and strangling her under an argument, according to police registers.
McCullough, 25, was arrested by Columbus Police just after 7 p.m. 01:30 and booked in Franklin County Corrections Center, where he is held on a tax on suffocation, according to online items.

The police responded to a Violence in the home Ring where a woman claimed she was attacked by McCullough after the two had entered an argument.

As per the court registrations obtained by Columbus -Shipment, The woman accused McCullough of punching her in the face several times and grabbing her at her throat. She told law enforcement that she “couldn’t breathe at all and felt panic,” the report states.
The woman also claimed to have lost consciousness until they arrived home. McCullough is also accused of breaking the woman’s cellphone.

McCullough was a walk-on in Ohio State from 2018-20. According to the school’s site, he served other team All-Conference Honor his senior year and was rated as No. 4 Long Snapper nationally.
Ohio State did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

McCullough announced on X in 2021 that he had decided to medical retirement From football. By 2024 he was involved in a serious car accident that resulted in the loss of his right eye.
