WEST VIRGINIA -TRAINER RICH RODIGRIGUEZ Said this week he has issued something of a ban on social media, but the new policy doesn’t prevent players from using it – just dancing.
In a speech with journalists during the team’s spring training program on Monday, Rodriguez was asked about his attitude on social media and if he has implemented a ban for his players.

Rodriguez said there is no social media policy The football team Must follow, but there is one thing he ban his players to participate in.

“They want to be on it, so I don’t prohibit them from it. I just forbid them dancing on it,” he said. “It’s like, see, we’re trying to have a hard edge or whatever and you’re in there in your tights dancing on Tiktok.
“It’s not entirely the image of our program that I want,” he continued.
Rodriguez said when he talked to the team, he expressed the importance of a group mood – something that he believes social media does not prioritize.

Rodriguez didn’t care that his players would “see their tiktok” long after their football career is over.
“I hope our focus can be on winning football matches. What about Let’s Win football match and not worry about winning Tiktok?”

The social media platform has grown in popularity in college athletes over the years, many of whom have sent dance videos.
But the trend stops with Rodriguez (61), who returns to his second stint as mountaineers head for almost two decades after he first left the program.
