An office superintendent from Government College for Women, Nazimabad, allegedly escaped with a huge amount of money he had collected as fees from students.
College Rector, Professor Shehla Bashir, reported the case to the Rizvia police, who subsequently registered a case against the absconding superintendent.
The principal informed police that college staff three days ago approached her and stated that students were visiting the administration office to collect their access card, which was to be issued by Superintendent, but they did not get their access card. Later, “I was told that Nafees dishonestly collected cash on RS910,200 from about 81 students as exam fees,” mentioned Prof Shehla, to add, nafees also collected cash directly from the female students to other works instead of leading them Students to deposit the same in the bank.
Following the complaints, a message was introduced on the College College Characterboard in October 2024, when the students and parents warned not to give cash to any employee for any reason and to get bank coupons instead.
The principal was informed by the students that Nafees was last seen at the College on January 25.
