Colts Apologies for having violated Microsoft Deal, ‘Insensitive’ Bull Hill Portrayl

Indianapolis Colts came under fire on Wednesday night for a later-plated social media video, which was intended to create creatively reveal the team’s 2025 gaming plan.

The clip, animated in the style of the Microsoft-owned video game Minecraft, opened with a segment that previews the team’s week 1 match against Miami Dolphins. In it, the Dolphins star Tirek Hill was depicted as a dolphin and was then contacted by a coastguard blowing a police siren, with a police officer staring at Hill.

Hill was arrested in September in a broadly published controversy containing Bodycam recordings of the broad recipient attached to the ground by police while being handcuffed.

The Colts deleted the video later that night and has since made a statement to Fox New Digital Cleoning that it was deleted due to the tray image and because it violated the team’s deal with Microsoft.

“We removed our schedule release video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving dolphins wide receiving Tirek Hill. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tire,” the team said on Thursday.

Los Angeles chargers also formatted their schedule release video with Minecraft. Unlike the Colts, however, the Chargers video included a disclaimer at first.

Unlike Colts ‘Video, Chargers’ video looks to be actually recorded gameplay of Minecraft, while Indianapolis used proprietary animation.

The NFL has had a partnership with Microsoft going back to 2013.

The contract began with a five-year $ 400 million agreement with a later expansion by 2020.
