Daniel Jones seems to play for Indianapolis Colts as he led them to a blowout victory over Miami Dolphins, 33-8, to open the 2025 season.
Jones finished 22 out of 29 passes in 272 yards with a touchdown to Michael Pittman Jr. He also had two Quarterback -in the final zone of his first rushing score as the team’s start quarterback.
On the way into this season, Jones and Anthony Richardson competed for the exit role, and head coach Shane Steichen eventually appointed Jones Week 1 starts. Steichen also showed confidence in Jones by not giving him a short leash.

Jones showed why on Sunday, the Colts ‘defense utilized, forcing an interception and a fumble on Tua Tagovailoa and Dolphins’ violation.

Jonathan Taylor was his effective self, a total of 71 rushing yards and 27 receiving yards to increase Colts’ violation.

On the other hand, Tagovailoa went 14 of 23 in 114 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions while fired three times. Tyreek Hill had four catches in 40 meters to lead the dolphins.
