Colts’ Jonathan Taylor self -assured in Anthony Richardson after Subpar 1. All season

Anthony Richardson’s rookie year was cut off shortly after only four games due to an injury, so the campaign in 2024 marked his first full season.

It was safe to say, it wasn’t that many Indianapolis Colts fans had hoped.

Richardson suffered another injury in just the fourth match of the season, and early on he fought. During that time he finished just over half of his passports, threw six interceptions and fumbled the ball three times (fortunately everyone was recovered).

He returned in week 7, but it got even worse. In weeks 7 and 8 he went 20-for-56 through the air and lost two fumbles. So Colts went with Joe Flacco for a short period of time.

His last five games were much of the same – less than half of his pass attempts were caught and he couldn’t hold onto the ball. First, he rushed into 358 yards during that time. But he missed the last two matches with another injury.

Add it all up and Richardson’s first full season ended up finishing 47.7% of his passport while throwing only eight touchdowns against 12 revenue in 11 games. He ran in 499 yards and six touchdowns, but he put the ball on the ground nine times.

However, his star asks back in Jonathan Taylor for everyone to give him some time.

“People are not aware that quarterbacks coming out now are like 24 – he is only 22. So he has not played as much ball yet, only 15 games in the NFL,” Taylor told Pakinomist Digital in a recent Conversation (Richardson turns 23 in May).

Taylor is in New Orleans for the Super Bowl Week, maybe a place he would rather be to fight for the Lombardi trophy. But during his turn, he comes out to Dairy Queen for his typical first name meal.

“I go there right after this. I get some of it sauced and thrown the honeybird basket,” Taylor said.

Oh, and he doesn’t forget his “go-to” Oreo Blizzard either.

However, when he talked about his quarterback, Taylor also pointed to what people don’t see.

“He’s on the field and gets extra reps. He’s really in the playbook all day, every day, so he has that work ethic.”

Richardson was the fourth overall election in 2023, behind Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, and Will Anderson Jr.
