The Non-Gazetted Welfare Association of Inland Revenue Department on Wednesday organized a special ceremony to honor Commissioner Inland Revenue (South Zone) Syed Anser Ali for his distinguished service and contribution to the department.
The event was attended by officers, staff and representatives of the association who commended Commissioner Ali for his role in enhancing departmental performance, increasing revenue growth and promoting staff welfare.
Speakers highlighted his key leadership in improving the AJK Point of Sale (POS) billing system. Under his guidance, they noted that the system became more transparent, efficient and widely regarded as a model for other regions. His proactive approach significantly increased compliance levels and helped the department achieve its revenue targets.
