Conan O’Brien hosts Oscars for the first time -what better way to turn to advice than the Four -time Academy Awards -host Jimmy Kimmel?
“We met at a restaurant and you and Molly couldn’t have been more gracious,” the 61-year-old shared while performing at his late evening show. “They gave me all these good tips.”
“Dumb-tip,” said host of the late night when he was among the first to congratulate the comedian getting hosting performance.
Remembers Jimmy’s tip, The Simpsons Star said, “Jimmy is obsessed with sitting as much as possible. His tips went back to, ‘try to sit down! If you can make the joke by sitting down, sitting down!’ What are you, Franklin Roosevelt?
The late evening hosted, Conan, said that advice from the 57-year-old wife, Molly McNearney, a writer and a performer at Oscars, was much more useful.
“Molly is very smart and she is clearly attentive,” he continued. “She had all these very specific, good tips – I mean, she’s beautiful, she’s smart, she just really knows the show.”
“Molly gives me great advice on how to host Oscars – you were a complete waste of time,” Joked Conan, as Jimmy replied, “next year, just you and Molly maybe.”
Oscars will be released on March 2 at ABC.
